When you use the app, we automatically collect usage data including device identifiers, IP address, operating system, app version, and in-app activity logs. With your permission, we collect precise location data to support load matching, route planning, and roadside assistance features.

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Freighthaul App platform, including connecting drivers with carriers, facilitating job postings, enabling marketplace transactions, and coordinating roadside assistance.

We may also use your information to send transactional communications (such as booking confirmations and support responses), send optional marketing messages (which you can opt out of at any time), detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Location data is used exclusively to power features like load matching, ETA calculations, and roadside assistance dispatch. We do not sell your location history to third parties. You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings, though some features will be limited as a result.

We share your information only as necessary to provide our services. This includes sharing relevant profile information with counterparties in a transaction (e.g., a carrier seeing a driver's CDL status), service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements, and law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons (such as transaction records).

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict certain processing, and receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

Freighthaul App is intended for use by adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete that information promptly.
